TOLEDO, OH: In partnership with Planned Pethood Inc., Yark Subaru will host a pet adoption and microchip clinic on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm to celebrate Subaru Loves Pets month.
Planned Pethood will have dogs and cats that are available for adoption on-site. Planned Pethood utilizes a network of pet foster parents, who care for these pets while they await their forever homes.
Current dog and cat owners are invited to the microchip clinic, placing 100 FREE pet microchips for those whose pets are not yet protected. Should a pet get lost, the microchip, about the size of a grain of rice, allows veterinarians to scan the pet for an identification number that corresponds to its owner’s information. The drive-up event is first come first served, and open to dog and cat owners. Owners should remain in their vehicles; dogs must be on leash and cats must be in carriers.
Local restaurant Leaf & Seed will be host a bake sale during the event.
