Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package vanilla pudding mix (French vanilla works great)
  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Cookies (Maria cookies, Chessmen, or vanilla wafers)
  • Ripe bananas (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Cream Cheese Mixture
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until fully combined and creamy.
  • Set aside.
  1. Prepare the Pudding
  • In a separate bowl, prepare the vanilla pudding according to the package directions.
  • Set aside to thicken.
  1. Whipped Cream
  • In another bowl, add the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and sugar.
  • Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  • Taste and adjust sugar as needed.

 

  1. Combine
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and fluffy.
  • Then fold in the prepared pudding until everything is well combined.

 

Assembly (Layering)

1    Spread a thin layer of pudding mixture on the bottom.

2    Add a layer of cookies.

3    Add a layer of sliced bananas.

4    Add another layer of pudding mixture.

  • Repeat the layers 2 more times, ending with pudding on top.

 

Tips

  • Chill for at least 4 hours (overnight is even better) so the flavors blend and cookies soften.
  • Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness and flavor
