BCI practices are Mondays & Wednesdays from 5 PM to 7 PM at Danny Thomas Field. We have T-Ball, Coach’s Pitch, and 12U teams. We are still looking for players and adult volunteers.

Paint n’ Petals Workshop
Inspired by the typical “paint and sip” event, this is a painting workshop for children in Grades 2-6 to make a special gift for an important woman in their life. Youth will paint a pot and plant a flower for their Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Stepmother, or any woman that has inspired them.

TBA Boxing Association Open House
TBA Boxing Association is celebrating 40 years of youth boxing. This event is open to ages 8 years old to young adult interested in learning more about boxing.

Mommy & Son Movie Night
Mothers and Grandmothers are welcome to bring their young boys to watch a free showing of The Goat (2025). Popcorn and a drink are free, while pizza and chips are available for purchase.

Join us for an evening of cultural talent and taco trucks. Featuring special performances by the students of El Corazon de Mexico. Vote for the El Barrio’s Best Taco Truck of the Summer.

The Peri Party
A perimenopause wellness event hosted by the Believe Center and Buckeye Health Plan to celebrate women’s health. This event is catered to Black and Brown women from the community who are 35 or older.

El Barrio Community Clean-Up
Join the Old South Community to beautify our neighborhood and volunteer some time. Breakfast will be served before the clean-up and we will take a group photo. Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt.

Ellas Unidas
Learn more about cultural identity, women’s empowerment, and feminist principles. Open to young women in Grades 6-12. Every Friday from 4pm-5pm.
